2025 Arts Student Conference Call for Papers

Call for Papers: Faculty of Arts Student Conference 2025 

Present your research at the annual Faculty of Arts Student Conference on March 21, 2025. Submissions from graduate and undergraduate Arts students can take the form of:

  • 15-minute oral presentations
  • posters, videos or digital projects
  • field school and applied learning recaps
  • roundtable sessions. 

This event is a great opportunity to share your work and get valuable feedback from faculty and students in other academic disciplines. Submit a 500-word abstract detailing your research topic to Dr. Heather Green at Heather.Green@smu.ca
Deadline: Friday, February 28, 2025

The Faculty of Arts is pleased to offer Arts for Everyone courses for the community this winter. Members of the public are invited to attend these two courses on a drop-in basis through the winter term. Visit our Arts For Everyone webpage for more details, including lists of topics covered in class each week.   

  •  — Mondays and Wednesdays, 10–11:15 a.m. with Dr. Sveva Savelli of the Department of Languages and Cultures, and
  • — Wednesdays, 1–3:30 p.m. with Dr. Lindsay Macumber of the Department for the Study of Religion.
