Moncton, New Brunswick鈥October 2020
Since graduating from the University of New Brunswick in 2014, Brandon has been working in the financial industry鈥痑nd quickly learned鈥渉ow few鈥痯eople were financially secure and how little planning they had done for their financial goals.鈥 His long-term plan is to improve the state of financial鈥痩iteracy in Canada. 鈥淚deally, I would like to provide the average citizen with the resources necessary to empower them in their financial decision-making鈥.鈥
Brandon is proud and grateful to be among the first recipients of the鈥痭ew鈥疭obey鈥疢BA Scholarships.鈥疕e particularly appreciates鈥痶he privilege of鈥痓eing able to focus on鈥痗ontributing to鈥痟is community, rather than鈥痮n the鈥痜inancial鈥痵tresses that can come with returning to school.鈥
鈥淚 plan to make the most of this gift and promise to work hard鈥︹痵o that I can accomplish great results that will allow me to have a meaningful impact across the country.鈥濃
